YOUR BODY IS CHANGING FOR GOOD. WHAT ABOUT YOUR EMOTIONS, MIND AND IDENTITY?

RTT hypnotherapy for people on Mounjaro, Zepbound, Wegovy OR Ozempic who ARE NAVIGATING MORE THAN JUST WEIGHT LOSS. THIS WORK HELPS YOU BECOME, ON THE INSIDE, WHO YOU'RE ALREADY BECOMING ON THE OUTSIDE.

THE EMOTIONAL SIDE EFFECTS OF THE WEIGHT LOSS JABS.

You are on the medication, and it works beautifully on your body. The cravings, the hunger, the food noise are in the past. You only just started realising what is feels like for people who never faced obesity. What it feels like not to have a mind preoccupied by food, weight, self-shame and self-blame on a constant level. You are losing weight and you feel a relief, a joy, a freedom like never before.

And hand-in-hand with your new-found freedom suddenly you notice an unexpected, confusing cluster of emotions.

You may feel exposed. Emotional in ways you couldn’t quite explain. There’s a feeling of loss and grief for who you have been before – because that old identity is going away with every pound shed. You may feel grief for who you could have been, if you didn’t have obesity most of your life. Maybe your relationships are changing in a way that makes you sad. You may feel numb and unmotivated.

There’s a fantasy most of us carry into weight loss: “Once the weight is gone, everything will feel better.”

And some of it does. But for many people on GLP-1 medications, something else surfaces too.

When food and weight and planning the next diet or shaming ourselves for failing again is no longer constant background noise… when all of that quiets down… you meet yourself. Often for the first time in years. Perhaps for the first time ever.

That can feel liberating. And raw. Vulnerable. Grief-filled. And scary. And exciting. And lonely. And empowering. Sometimes all in the same week.

Here’s my message to you: this is normal. Everything the food helped you sooth, cover up, numb, escape from is out there now, ready to be felt, understood and released. This is your doorway to true, lasting freedom. This is what transformation actually feels like from the inside. This is the real you emerging, coming home to yourself. It doesn’t have to be overwhelming, and it doesn’t have to last forever.

I’ve been on this same journey. And I work with people at exactly this intersection — where the body is changing for good, and the inner world is trying to catch up. That is the work I do with RTT, and it goes deep.

WHY THIS IS DEEPER THAN HABITS

GLP-1 medication changes your body’s signals. It doesn’t change the story underneath.

Your subconscious holds:

  • Your beliefs about food, body and worth
  • The link between food and comfort, safety, love
  • Your weight set point – the size your system has decided is “home”

Medication works on the physical side of the weight issues but it doesn’t rewrite the beliefs that led you here in the first place. Nor does it update that “home” weight.

The inner story might sound like:

  • “Life is boring without good food. Food was one of my main sources of joy, now what?”
  • “Everyone in my family is overweight. That’s just how it is. It’s all about genetics.”
  • “Being bigger keeps me safe, I don’t like people noticing me. Being flirted with makes me scared and exposed.”
  • “I have no control around food, food controls me.”
  • “When craving hits, it takes me with it, there’s nothing I can do. I am powerless.”
  • “Something is fundamentally wrong with me. I am not like other people.”
  • “It is so unjust that I have to struggle with this my entire life, while others can live happily, free and slim.”

Weight loss, especially rapid weight loss, doesn’t automatically deliver confidence, peace or self-trust. Often it reveals what was always there, waiting beneath the weight:

  • Old emotions that food used to cover
  • A new, “slim you” identity that can feel unfamiliar, as if it wasn’t even you. You look in the mirror and sometimes wonder who that person is
  • Your nervous system that learned, long ago, that food meant safety, a soft emotional bubble, an escape from the harshness of the world
  • Grief about time, about years lived with self-hatred, in a body you struggled with. A sense of “my precious life consumed by this…”
  • Fear of being seen, noticed, being flirted with
  • Relationships shifting in ways nobody prepared you for, being misunderstood, a lack of support and joy from people in your inner circle
  • Quiet, disorienting questions: Who am I, without food, the weight struggle, the overweight, the obesity? What do I do now? All my life my main motivation was becoming slim. Now I am becoming slim forever, but I feel empty. Where do I go from here?

These are very valid thoughts and feelings. Something is leaving your life that you hated, but it was so deeply engrained, now you no longer have it to hold on to. And all of this are coming from deep, subconscious beliefs, often formed in childhood, by experiences that made complete sense at the time. And they can be changed at the root once and forever.

your journey to food and weight freedom

what rtt can do

RTT – Rapid Transformational Therapy – works directly with the subconscious. In a relaxed hypnotic state we explore:

  • When and why food became your comfort, your safety, your companion
  • What the overweight is doing for you
  • The emotions and beliefs that drove the food noise in the first place
  • The version you that’s been waiting to emerge: the one who is naturally fulfilled, happy and relaxed around food and weight

We understand it with compassion, then change the meaning.

We plant new beliefs and a new self‑concept, so you can:

  • Feel safe and ok with natural hunger
  • Feel emotionally safe and relaxed in your changing body and be happy about it
  • Process what’s happening in your inner world when you no longer cut off with food
  • Release the grief, the anger, the disorientation
  • Build a genuine sense of self that doesn’t depend on the medication continuing
  • Trust yourself around food, whether or not you stay on the jab
  • Build a new identity of a natural, healthy eater and a slim person for the rest of your life.

This is an identity shift, a major emotional release and permanent transformation into the person you always wanted to be.

You don’t just try to eat differently.
You become someone who relates to food, to yourself and to life in a whole new empowering way.

IS THIS FOR YOU?

This work is for you if:

  • You’re on GLP-1 medication and the emotional side of this journey is surprising you
  • The food noise has quieted, but other feelings are getting louder, or you no longer feel like yourself
  • You feel like you’re grieving something, even though things are going well
  • Attention feels uncomfortable now. Visibility feels scary.
  • Your relationships suffer as you change and you feel lonely, maybe even betrayed by some
  • You’re afraid of what happens if and when you come off medication
  • You’ve already stopped and food noise is creeping back. You are panicking that you gain it all back.
  • You want this transformation to be real and lasting, and you want to make the most of the medication, not just physically but mentally and emotionally too.

what we work on

  • The emotions underneath the weight: what food was protecting you from, and how to meet those feelings safely now that the noise has quieted.
  • Why it started in the first place: the subconscious beliefs, early experiences and emotional patterns that created your relationship with food and your body.
  • Your weight set point and fear of regain: shifting the inner “home” your system keeps returning to, and replacing anxiety about the future with genuine, felt confidence.
  • Self-shame, blame and body image: releasing the years of self-criticism that no amount of weight loss automatically undoes.
  • Grief and reclamation: the grief of who you were, who you might have been, and the years spent at war with yourself.
  • Your relationships with others, and with yourself:  how your changing body is shifting the dynamics around you, and how to find genuine joy to be you, just as you are.

how it works

1. Free discovery call – 45 minutes
We meet, you share what’s happening, and we see if this work feels right for you.

2. Assessment & map – 60–90 minutes
We explore your history with food, your body and GLP‑1s, and clarify what you want life to feel like instead.

3. Bespoke RTT session – 2–3 hours
In hypnosis we find the root, transform it, and plant your new beliefs and identity. Most clients need 1–3 sessions.

4. Integration – 30 days
After each RTT session you receive a personalised recording to listen to daily, so the new patterns can settle and become natural.

The medication is a gift. The inner work is the freedom.
